We’ve become aware that a number of customers using f2s.com email addresses have had issues logging in over the last few days, since control of the f2s.com domain moved across to us.
This was due to old ‘inmail’ server addresses being used by customers in their email client software, such as Outlook.
We have made some tweaks on our side that should mean your email is flowing normally again – but suggest that you update the Server settings you are using to those below when you get the time/opportunity to do so. This will future-proof your account and make your connection more secure:
Server Settings
Note: your ‘login/username’ is your email address.
Inbound Server:
mail.verygoodemail.com
Port: 993 (IMAP) or 995 (POP3)
Select TLS/SSL if option.
Outbound Server:
mail.verygoodemail.com
Port: 465
Select TLS/SSL if option.
You must enter your username/password
Set authentication to ‘Password’ if option.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused!
I had a problem with our f2s.com emails yesterday and Iain was really helpful in checking it out for me explaining how I needed to update my server settings. He phoned me to discuss and sent email instructions with new settings. His response was quick, friendly and he was patient with me, as I’m not a computer whizz by any means! Thank you so much for your help Iain, I was very impressed with the ease of contacting and the customer support from yourself and The Very Good Email Company.
Thank you for the kind words Ros, much appreciated.
