All your information can be accessed via your favourite email client (including full Outlook integration) and through the webmail interface at https://mail.verygoodemail.com
Changing your MX Records
In order to redirect your emails to us you need to change your current MX records to:
10 a.mx.verygoodemail.com
20 b.mx.verygoodemail.com
Please be aware that it might take up to 24 hours before your DNS changes fully propagate.
Control Panel
You can access your control panel, emails and spam via the following URL:
https://mail.verygoodemail.com
When you log in, you will be presented with a Webmail view.
For control panel configuration and tools, please click on ‘Admin’ at the top right corner.
Using IMAP/POP3/SMTP
You can access your email using IMAP or POP3. We strongly recommend using IMAP rather than POP3 – simply because IMAP is stored on the server, supports folders and can be accessed using other clients concurrently. With POP3, if you delete the messages from your server they will not be accessible from anywhere else.
You can access your MailCore Pro account using IMAP/POP using the following settings:
Server Name: mail.verygoodemail.com
User Name: user@domain (provided in your Welcome email)
Password: yourpassword (provided in your Welcome email)
IMAP using SSL port 993.
POP3 over SSL port 995.
SMTP + SSL port 465 – please enable “My Server Requires Authentication” for outbound emails.
Migrating email from your previous provider with IMAPSync
IMAPSync can be accessed via your Control Panel (see above).
Select the relevant mailbox and you should see an option called IMAPSync at the right hand end of the mailbox management options.
Select IMAPSync and populate the fields with the details of the mailbox you are moving from: your previous email hosting provider’s IMAP Server address, the mailbox email address and the relevant password for that legacy mailbox.
There’s a fourth field where you can stipulate the address you want the confirmation email sent to once the process is complete, with a log of the actions taken. If the Synchronisation fails then you should be able to see the reason from that log, make any changes, and synchronise again.
Please note that it can take some time to fully migrate the contents of a mailbox, depending on size of mailbox, speed of connection etc. At any time you can stop the process and restart it again without any danger of duplication.
