Freedom2Surf (F2S), Nildram, Gotadsl and Mr Site were all brands that used our email services as a wholesale product, and have ceased doing so as their parent companies have shut down the related brands.
Therefore, if you’ve landed on this page after a search, here’s what you need to know…
Important Note: If you didn’t transfer your service to us when the previous brand was shut down, then your email address has gone and can’t be resurrected, even temporarily, for security reasons.
If your email is working, and you’re not technically proficient, then great! Leave things as they are. As the saying goes, “if it aint broke, don’t fix it.”
However, you may still be relying on server settings that are controlled by the previous provider, and it’s possible for them to switch things off or make mistakes that cause problems for you. So, if you want to make sure everything is as it should be, please stop by our Support page and check out the settings there. We have tried to make life as easy as possible. There is only one server name to remember – mail.verygoodemail.com – this does webmail, control panel, IMAP, SMTP, POP3, etc. Everything, basically.
Other recommendations would be to switch to IMAP if you’re currently using POP3 and make sure you are using SSL everywhere!
