Attachment filtering in the Control Panel

Customers now have the ability to filter out specific attachment types, such as .exe files, in customers’ email.

How it works…

There are two new text boxes that can each contain a list of file extensions:

If a specified file extension is in the Blocked box then any attachments with that file extension will be removed.

If a specified file extension is in the SPAM box then any emails with attachments of that file extension will be treated as SPAM.

This is a powerful addition to our email filtering armoury!
