Your Account
In the welcome email you received will be your username and password to access the control panel at ‘VISP’ level, the level required to create and manage accounts. As with any password, please keep these details safe.
In all cases, whether you are a VISP or a customer, you have a single username and password that can access all services. The same credentials you use to log into the control panel are also used to authenticate with the POP3 server, or access Webmail.
Is My Username an Email Address?
Yes, but only if you want it to be. All VISP accounts on the system get an email address. However, you are not obliged to make use of it – it can act as a ‘passive’ account and just be used for access purposes.
Your Domain and Your Customers
By default, the domain used by your VISP account is available to all accounts your create. If you do not want this, let us know and we can restrict the domain to your account only. However, please be aware that in this case each customer account must have it’s own unique domain name.
Changing Your Password
You can change your password at any time by accessing the mailbox settings page for the above username in the control panel. This is probably a good idea!
